Dr. Judith Simmermon

In addition to private practice, Dr. Simmermon has been a teacher, school psychologist, a consultant to a psychoeducational center, and an adjunct faculty member/lecturer teaching graduate level assessment courses at Georgia State University and Boston University (European Program). As a Fellow of the Georgia Psychological Association, Dr. Simmermon has served on that organization’s board as Treasurer and President of the Division of Family, Child and School Psychologists of GPA, and a two term member of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Simmermon has also served on the board of the Learning Disabilities Association of Georgia, is a member of the International Dyslexia Association, and has been a member of the advisory committee of Imagine It, the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. Dr. Simmermon completed a Bachelor’s degree at Butler University, a Master’s degree in Psychometry and a Specialist degree in School Psychology at Ball State University. She subsequently completed a doctoral degree in School Psychology at Georgia State University.
