Dr Robert Simmermon

rs1Dr Robert Simmermon is a licensed psychologist who has maintained an independent practice for over 20 years. His clinical emphasis has been in individual and couples psychotherapy. He also provides psychological treatment and assessment for patients dealing with fertility issues. In addition he supervises clinical and counseling doctoral and post-doctoral student’s.

As a consultant, Dr. Simmermon provides psychological strategy services to businesses and organizations and has been active as a psychologist dealing with mass media issues for 25 years.

Dr.  Simmermon served on the faculties of Georgia State University and Ball State University providing psychological services and teaching graduate students. He is a Fellow of The American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of GPA, Editor of The Georgia Psychologist, and public information chairperson. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Division of Media Psychology for APA and is currently chairperson of the Film committee.

Dr. Simmermon attended Indiana University with a BA in Social Science, a Master degree at Butler University and a doctorate at Ball State University.
